Tiger Woods has now been released from hospital sources say. He is reported to have suffered minor lacerations to the face but is in good condition.
The Florida Highway Patrol says that Tiger Woods collided with a fire hydrant and a tree near his Isleworth mansion at about 2:25am Friday morning. Although there was damage to his Cadillac SUV, it is reported that the airbags in the car were not employed.
Police say that alcohol was not a factor in the accident.
